Reading

Reading books are changed weekly, and their progress recorded in their reading record books.

Guided reading is a carousel of activities; each group will read once with the teacher every week.

On occasion, we will also complete a whole class guided reading activity, where we read a text as a class and learn the skills needed to answer comprehension style questions.
