Kita Hadas’ Fantastic VE Day Celebration 🇬🇧 Kita Hadas had a fantastic time celebrating VE Day, learning about the importance of this special day and why it is remembered. The children enjoyed taking part in the online assembly, where they reflected on the end of the Second World War and the celebrations that took place in 1945. Back in class, they had great fun colouring the Union Jack, and shared thoughtful discussions about family members who fought or were involved in the war, showing pride and curiosity in their family histories. To end the day, Kita Hadas enjoyed a wonderful VE Day picnic, making their own sandwiches, eating yummy food, and dancing along to great music . It was a memorable day filled with learning, fun, and reflection!
