Wow Work and Children's Pictures

Water Pollution: Children explored how pollution affects water habitats. They carried out an experiment using pondweed and different types of pollution like detergent and salt. They observed and recorded changes, learning how pollution harms plants and animals in water. Photos of the experiment are linked below.

Howard Carter Biography: Brilliant Presentation and Writing by Year 4 Children The Year 4 children dazzled us with their brilliant biographies of Howard Carter, the legendary archaeologist who uncovered the secrets of Tutankhamun’s tomb. With powerful verbs, vivid similes, and sparkling adjectives, they brought his story to life. From "dusty deserts" to "golden glimmers of ancient treasures," their writing was bursting with figurative language and historical detail. Each paragraph was a time-travelling journey, written with care, curiosity, and creativity. A truly golden effort worthy of a pharaoh!

Year 4 Science Lesson – Thank You for Joining Us! A huge thank you to all the parents and carers who joined us for our Year 4 Science lesson. It was fantastic to see so many of you take part and support your children’s learning. The children had a wonderful time exploring what soil is and how it is formed, collecting samples, and investigating its different layers. Thank you for your continued support.
