Sukkot at Clore Tikva
We had a very special Sukkot this year in school. Rabbi Brandman visited us with the mobile Sukkah, where the children shook the Lulav and Etrog and sat and ate a snack. We were also kindly loaned two Sukkahs for the children to sit in and enjoy.
The children were also given the opportunity to carry out work based on their time in the Sukkah. Below is a poem written by Kita Hadas.

A poem about a Sukkah in the style of Dr. Seuss
You can build it on a Sunday,
You can build it on a Monday,
But you can’t build on a Saturday.
You can build it on a van by a man,
You can build it on a shed,
But you can’t build on a leg!
You can live in it,
You can eat in it,
But you can’t swim in it.
You can sleep on rugs
But be careful of the bugs!
You can eat your soup
But be wary of the rain,
It can be such a pain.
Even so, it is such fun to sit in the Sukkah!
