A school of excellence inspired by inclusive Jewish values
We have a long established successful partnership with the Kerner School, Meona in the Galil region in the North of Israel, which is led by Gila Mikel, Kerner School Principal.
The Partnership is a major element of the UJIA‘s “Living Bridge Project”; a project that links Jewish schools in the UK and Israel.
However there is a special element to the partnership between our two schools – and that is the deep relationships that have been developed between teachers, parents and children. In fact families have grown together over the years, taking holidays together and inviting each other to family simchas and events.
None of this would have been possible without the deep thought that went into establishing the project, together with the on-going commitment of the UJIA, the generosity of Brian Kerner and the enthusiasm of Libby Landau – our indefatigable Ivrit teacher and manager of the project.
We look forward to the partnership continuing!
