School Day

THE SCHOOL DAY AT CLORE TIKVA

 

NURSERY

Morning Nursery: 8:40 am –  11:40 am
Afternoon Nursery: 12:40 pm – 3:30 pm

Pupils may attend Nursery Lunch Club from 11:40 am – 12:40 pm. Children will either have a school lunch or bring their own dairy/vegetarian/nut free packed lunch. The children then have a play session supervised by members of school staff. This lunch hour costs £7.45 for a school lunch and ££4.75 for a packed lunch, to include the cost of the play supervisor

 

KEY STAGE ONE

School starts: 8:40 am – 8:50 am (soft entry)

Playtime 10:25 am – 10:40 am

Lunch time:  11:55 am – 12:50 pm

End of the school day: 3:25 pm (2:00 pm Fridays in winter)

At Clore Tikva we have a “soft entry” to the start of school allowing pupils to come straight into the classroom and maximise their learning time.

 

KEY STAGE TWO

School starts: 8:40 am – 8:50 am (soft entry time)

Play time 10:45 am – 11:00 am

Lunch time: 13:00 pm – 14:00 pm

End of school day : 3:30 pm (2:00 pm Fridays in winter)

 

ASSEMBLIES

Assemblies take place every morning highlighting our Jewish and British values. We also have special themed assemblies – as well as Havdallah. Kaballat Shabbat and Torah assemblies.

 

EXTRA CURRICULAR CLUBS
After School Club: 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm

Other after-school activity clubs start after the Autumn half-term include: –

 

  • Active Lunchtimes led by a Specialist Sports Coach
