Mitzvah Day 2022
Mrs Bendon took 8 children from Key Stage 2 to present our Mitzvah Tree to the members of RJCC (Redbridge Jewish Community Centre), and we received theirs. This is part of our intergenerational project where each week for a year, a leaf will be taken down and read. Each leaf contains a motivational and uplifting message. How wonderful that the members of RJCC will receive a message from our children and we will receive from them, therefore nurturing the link between the young and the elders of our Jewish community here in Redbridge. A fun afternoon was had, filled with laughter, chat and dancing!
