Physical Development
Fine Motor Control
The children will access a range of activities that are tailored to develop their control and precision when using their hands. These skills can be improved through the use of playdough, small world activities, puzzles, arts and crafts and the practice of using small tools such as scissors and tweezers. All of this will aid them as they start to write fluently.
Gross Motor Control
Gross motor skills provide the foundation for developing healthy bodies and social and emotional well-being. The children will have the opportunity to become confident with large scale movements through play, both indoors and outdoors. Having these skills will enhance their coordination and spatial awareness.
